Graphic Design

The focus is quality design in my logos and graphics both for Internet or Print Production. The work here represents what I've done in the years since earning my B.F.A. the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. The program solidified my knowledge of design principles and gave me a broad range of techniques to draw from.

After graduation, in 2003, I applied to dozens of jobs all over America. I spent a lot of time on the road driving to New Jersey, Kansas, and Chicago. I picked up several freelance jobs including graphics work for Post Digital and video editing work for CVP in Kansas City.

At this point, I got a huge break. Wiley Publishing brought me in as an Illustrator on a nationally published book series in Indianapolis. Near the end of my time there I interviewed in Cincinnati for a small web design company. A few days later, I accepted the position and moved during Thanksgiving weekend 2005 to Ohio.

In February 2006, after working for others for three years - I went out on my own. At first, the going was extremely rough. After months of phone calls, emails, and meetings I found myself freelancing with three very different companies.
